- Job Summary:**
We are seeking a Doctor’s Technician to provide support to medical professionals in a clinical setting. The Doctor’s Technician will assist doctors with patient care, perform basic medical procedures, maintain medical equipment, and ensure the cleanliness of the work environment.
- Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent required; certification or associate degree in a related field preferred
- Proven experience working in a medical setting or as a medical assistant
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- CPR certification and knowledge of basic first aid procedures
- Responsibilities:**
- Assist doctors in medical examinations and procedures
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure all necessary equipment is available
- Take and record vital signs, patient medical history, and other relevant information
- Perform basic medical procedures such as collecting samples, dressing wounds, and administering medications as directed
- Clean and sterilize medical instruments and equipment
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care instructions
- Adhere to all medical and safety protocols to ensure the well-being of patients and staff
- Work Environment:**
The Doctor’s Technician will work in a clinical setting, interacting with patients, doctors, and other healthcare professionals. The role may require standing for long periods and lifting or moving heavy equipment. The ability to maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor while providing quality patient care is essential for success in this position.
