About Delight
Delight is a leading arts-based learning charity, using the transformative power of the arts to bring about sustained change for children affected by disadvantage. Our vision is for every child to have an equitable opportunity to thrive during their school years and beyond. Developed in partnership with our Surrey-based arts partners, Delight’s high quality and inclusive arts-based learning programmes immerse children in visual art, dance, drama and creative writing to ignite their imagination and open doors to new possibilities. We work in long-term partnership with state primary schools that have high levels of disadvantage where our programmes achieve consistently strong outcomes around wellbeing, engagement with learning and creative skills. Our approach upskills teachers and brings greater confidence in using arts based learning in the classroom and extends beyond our programmes to use these skills to bring learning to life across all areas of the curriculum.
