DRC Uganda is currently looking for highly qualified and motivated individuals to join our dynamic team as Climate and Environment Team Leaders (02).
Project background
The objective of the Uganda Refugee Resilience Initiative (URRI) programme is to enhance climate resilience among women, men, and youth in both refugee and host communities, and to promote inclusive, cohesive, and environmentally sustainable development in refugee-affected areas, aligned with local priorities. URRI is funded by the Royal Danish Embassy in Kampala.
The overall purpose of the role:
The Climate & Environment Team leader will be responsible for technical quality assurance and due diligence of environment activities of the Uganda Refugee Resilience Initiative (URRI) in the six districts Terego, Madi-Okollo, Yumbe, Koboko, Obongi and Moyo. This includes ensuring appropriateness and quality of actual work as well as supporting community trainings, particularly Community Management Committees.

About you
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have a minimum of 5 years of full-time relevant professional experience in Environment or climate-related interventions. Moreover, we also expect the following:
