Job description

The Centro de Integridade Publica (CIP) needs your expertise to produce analyses and publications on the extractive industries. The civil society organisation, which was founded in 2005, regularly publishes critical analyses and studies on political issues and organises information events and debates in the media. CIP joined Transparency International (TI) in 2011. The organisation’s guiding principles are integrity, transparency, anti-corruption and good governance.

Your Tasks

• Conducting quality assurance of analyses and publications in this field
• Further developing and expanding the international network
• Contributing to position papers
• Training staff in selected areas in this field
• Supporting the director in addressing questions on economics-related issues

Your profile

• Minimum master-level degree in Economics or other relevant course of studies
• at least 6 years of experience in public finance and the extractive industry
• Ideally experience in the region
• Very good written and spoken English
• Willingness to learn and work in Portuguese
