Engagement Manager (West)

Suffolk Wildlife Trust is the county’s nature charity – protecting and restoring Suffolk’s wildlife.

In the decade to 2030 we are committed to scaling up our activities across the county to bring nature back to Suffolk. Our aim is for 30% of our county to be connected and well-looked after for nature by 2030 so that our species and habitats can recover and thrive – and for 1 in 4 people to be actively helping to achieve this.

This role is central to achieving this in West Suffolk, with a focus on creating exceptional opportunities and nurturing local partnerships to enable more and a wider range of people to experience, learn about and take action for nature.  

You will lead the centre team and champion the development of new community-based activity alongside opportunities on other West Suffolk reserves.

This is a leadership role, working with the Head of Engagement to drive the development and delivery of our Engagement strategy across West Suffolk.  It is a full-time role on a permanent contract and the outreach nature of this role means that a current driving licence is essential.
