GCU Traditional Campus – Phoenix, AZ:

  • Courses are in-person and on-campus for the Spring 2025 Semester (01/06/2025 – 04/27/2025)

Course: English Composition

This is a writing-intensive course in writing academic prose, including various types of essays, arguments, and constructions.

What You Will Do:

  • Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
  • Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
  • Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
  • Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University

What You Will Bring:

  • Preferred: PhD in Composition OR
  • Writing OR
  • Professional Writing OR
  • Rhetoric
  • Minimum: Master’s in the above areas
  • Exceptions may be granted to individuals with a Master’s in any field AND 18-graduate credits in English AND substantial teaching experience
