Santa Rosa Junior College is seeking an individual with demonstrated instructional skills to join an outstanding team of faculty and instructional administrators to provide high quality programs and services to our district, our community, and most importantly, our students. This is a full-time, regular contract position in the English for Multilingual Students Department at Santa Rosa Junior College, beginning Fall Semester, August 2025. Appointments are contingent upon funding and Board approval. We are seeking equity-minded faculty who are committed to educating our diverse student population. DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:
The Department of English for Multilingual Students at Santa Rosa Junior College offers a full range of credit and noncredit courses and certificate programs designed to support multilingual students in achieving their personal, academic, and career goals. Serving a diverse cohort of over 2000 students, we facilitate access to campus and community programs and services. Our offerings extend beyond traditional coursework to encompass community-based classes, civics-focused education, specialized language courses tailored to specific career paths, and transfer-level courses. Our goal is for students to access campus/community programs and services and to assist students, both on and off campus, to realize their aspirations.
