Job Summary Job Summary The English Learner Program Coordinator is responsible to the Chief Academic Officer. The English Learner Program Coordinator of K-12 English Learner (EL) Services provides leadership, direction and staff assistance toward the planning, development, coordination, evaluation, and research of CCSS ELA/ELD standards-based programs for students of limited English proficiency, all students in English Learner programs, and the dual immersion program. The Coordinator is responsible for Coordinating all EL state and federally funded programs and assessments, including CELDT. This position works at both the district and site level to provide school-based, ongoing professional development and support to teachers in implementing the EL program. Incumbents may perform any combination of the essential job functions shown below. Required: Valid California teaching credential. Possession of a bilingual teaching credential (BCLAD, BCC, Bilingual Coordinator, etc.)

Preferred: English/Spanish Bilingual
