Job Summary Job Summary Damien High School seeks an English teacher for the 2024-25 school year. Teaching sections may include English 1, English 2, and/or American Literature. The ideal candidate will: Cultivate an inclusive, collaborative, and challenging learning environment that reflects Damien’s core values and allows our diverse student body to grow and thrive. Exhibit a passion for content knowledge and implement various pedagogical approaches. Create an environment in the classroom and in all areas of co-curricular responsibility that nurtures the development of the whole student. Show a willingness to engage students to foster a student-centered learning environment. Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop an integrated curriculum and meaningful student learning experiences. Requirements / Qualifications Requirements / Qualifications

Undergraduate degree in English or a related field; teaching credential preferred; teaching experience preferred. Proficiency in the use of technology as it relates to daily school operations, instruction, and communication.
