nearmejobs.eu

This PhD project investigates the interplay between entrepreneurship ecosystems and regional economic growth. By leveraging insights from endogenous growth theory and Kuhnian knowledge creation, this research aims to develop a conceptual model that

elucidates how innovation and entrepreneurship contribute to sustainable regional development.

The purpose of this project is to explore the dynamics of how scientific ideas, innovation, and entrepreneurial ecosystems foster sustainable regional economic growth, providing valuable insights for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers.

The specific objectives could include the following:

1. To develop a conceptual model integrating endogenous growth theory and Kuhnian knowledge creation within entrepreneurship ecosystems.

2. To empirically examine the relationship between innovation, entrepreneurial activities, and regional economic growth.

3. To identify the role of institutional and environmental factors in influencing innovation and regional growth.

4. To provide policy recommendations for fostering sustainable regional development through innovation and entrepreneurship.

This project will significantly advance understanding of the mechanisms driving regional economic growth through innovation and entrepreneurship. It will bridge gaps in current literature regarding the influence of environmental policies and institutional factors on these dynamics, offering practical insights for enhancing regional economic strategies.

The PhD candidate will aim to conduct comprehensive literature reviews, develop theoretical frameworks, and employ qualitative and quantitative research methods to analyse the impact of entrepreneurship ecosystems on regional growth. They will gather primary data through interviews and case studies, analyse this data to test the conceptual model and disseminate findings through academic publications and conferences. The candidate will also engage with policymakers and industry stakeholders to translate research insights into actionable strategies for promoting sustainable regional development.

This PhD project will aim to provide a nuanced understanding of how innovation within entrepreneurial ecosystems drives regional economic growth. It will investigate the interaction between knowledge creation, entrepreneurship, and institutional factors, offering a comprehensive view of the factors contributing to sustainable development. By integrating theoretical perspectives and empirical findings, the project will deliver a robust conceptual framework that can inform both academic research and practical policy-making.
