Education First in partnership with a leading university in the Asir region of Saudi Arabia delivers a range of programmes including; IELTS and EAP focused courses for Teaching Assistants and Lecturers, General English courses for university staff, summer and community programmes for a range of ages. As EF’s partnerships grow within the region an increasingly wider range of programmes (including ESP and business opportunities) are also expected to commence. 

Candidate

We are looking for a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The candidate must also have solid experience in the ESL field preferably with expertise in teaching IELTS. Must be flexible and open to teaching on a range of courses as well as being conscientious and punctual in terms of admin work and its submission.

Responsibilities

General English and IELTS instruction

Collaborating with academic team to achieve high performance among student body and teaching team

Engage with operations teams in the opening of new language courses and assist academic team in materials/syllabus design if needed

Creating schemes of work and writing student reports when required

Being a helpful point of contact for students regarding academic queries

Requirements

Bachelors degree (*Masters or above in TESOL/English lit./linguistics preferred)

CELTA /DELTA qualified or equivalent

IELTS experience 

Excellent organisational skills with ability to provide clear aims to students and comprehensive feedback to academic management

Demonstrates a high level of customer service as well as the key skills of cooperation, collaboration and listening.

Good IT skills (Microsoft Office)

Qualifications

BA 

MA/Ph.D in TESOL or Applied Linguistics preferred.

IELTS experience required (2+ years preferred)
