ESL Instructor

Oxford International Education Group is seeking enthusiastic and experienced instructors for substitute teaching work at our Vancouver location.

This position offers a competitive hourly wage and paid preparation time. Candidates who move into a full time position are eligible for, after successfully completing probation: Extended medical and dental benefits, life insurance, paid sick days and an RRSP matching program.

As a qualified candidate you must:
1. have TESL Certification (equivalent to TESL Canada Standard 1) You must be able to show evidence of a supervised ESL teaching practicum of 20+ hours
2. have previous experience teaching adults in an ESL/EAL setting
3. have familiarity with delivering lessons using a smart board
4. be located in the lower mainland of Vancouver
5. be legally able to work in Canada
6. have native level proficiency in the English language
7. have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree

Experience in teaching Business English / Exam Preparation / EAP is an asset
