Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and experienced ESL Teacher to teach vocational vocabulary related to Computer Science. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging lessons that enhance our students’ English language proficiency within this technical field.

Job Duties:

• Develop and implement ESL lesson plans tailored to vocational vocabulary in Computer Science.
• Use a variety of teaching methods and materials, such as Burlington English, to accommodate different learning styles.
• Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and provide feedback.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Assist students in developing both their general and industry-specific language skills.
• Participate in professional development opportunities and stay current with ESL teaching best practices.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Previous experience in teaching ESL is required.
• Knowledge in Digital Literacy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create an engaging and supportive learning environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Some knowledge in Computer Science

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience teaching adults or in a vocational education setting.
• Familiarity with digital teaching tools and online learning platforms.
