ESL Teacher

ESL Teaching Position

EF International Language Center

Olympia, WA

Are you a globally minded, passionate, and confident teacher committed to giving international students an enriching learning experience on your home turf? Teaching at our EF Olympia location, you will work with students from around the world who travel to our school for anything from a few weeks to a full academic year.

Teaching Responsibilities:

Planning and delivering lessons to students in small classes ranging from 15-17 students

Evaluating student progress and providing ongoing guidance for improvement

Paperwork associated with teaching duties (weekly schemes of work, curriculum development, 

attending meetings, etc.)

Minimum Qualifications:

6 months EFL, ELL, or ESL teaching experience (1 year preferred).

Bachelor’s degree.

Experience utilizing communicative and task-based teaching methods.

The ability to work and interact well with individuals in a culturally diverse environment.

A genuine love of teaching, education and developing yourself and others.

A desire to improve learning outcomes and student experiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

TESOL, CELTA or Equivalent preferred

3 or more years EFL or ESL teaching experience

Requirements:

Have the right to live and work in the U.S.

Highly responsible, approachable and flexible

Pay: $20.49 – $22.85 per hour

Job Type: In-person, part-time (approximately 20 hours per week)

Schedule: Monday to Friday.
