EF Bournemouth is excited to welcome enthusiastic, “can-do” teachers to our skilled, positive, and supportive staff room this summer! Our vibrant campus, filled with energy and encouragement, welcomes both adult and junior students, creating a warm and collaborative environment that celebrates growth, learning, and the joy of teaching. Our adult students, with an average age of 18, join us for immersive stays of 2 weeks to 9 months, while our junior students, aged 13 to 16, experience a fun and enriching learning journey of 2 to 4 weeks.

Our academic team is both experienced and dynamic, bringing together seasoned professionals and fresh talent. At EF Bournemouth, we believe in continuous professional development with regular CPD sessions, classroom observations, and peer support. Our goal is to equip each teacher with the tools and skills to meet every student’s unique needs. Our classrooms are tech-friendly and engaging, with a custom-designed, regularly updated curriculum that blends traditional and task-based learning. Lessons include general English, special interest classes, and lectures, focusing on connecting classroom learning to real-life experiences through engaging activities.

Role Highlights: As part of our teaching team, you’ll have between 20 and 30 contact hours per week, Monday through Friday, between 8:30 am and 5:30 pm, with hours set by our supportive Director of Studies. You’ll have access to an extensive library and user-friendly apps that streamline planning, and progress tracking, and reduce administration so you can focus on delivering high-quality, impactful teaching. Our online platform simplifies student placement, graduation, and progress tests, making life easier for both teachers and students.

What We’re Looking For: A minimum of a 120-hour TEFL qualification, plus CELTA or Trinity TESOL, and the right to work in the UK.
