COCIR is the European Trade Association representing the medical imaging, health ICT and electromedical industries. Founded in 1959, COCIR is a non-profit association headquartered in Brussels (Belgium) with a China Desk based in Beijing since 2007. Our focus is to open markets for COCIR members in Europe and beyond. We provide a range of services in the areas of regulatory, technical, market intelligence, environmental, standardisation, international and legal affairs. COCIR is also a founding member of DITTA, the Global Diagnostic Imaging, Healthcare IT and Radiation Therapy Trade Association. 

COCIR is a trusted key stakeholder within the field of EU health policy, helping to shape the future of healthcare that supports sustainable health systems with better outcomes for patients.

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Support COCIR EU and global activities in COCIR and DITTA Committees 
  • Actively monitor EU events, consultations, draft legislation, and initiatives.
  • Draft reports and coordinate COCIR contributions.
  • Research trends and data in medical imaging, radiotherapy, health ICT and electromedical industries.
  • Assist in the preparation of communication material, conferences, reports, and position papers.

Education

  • Master’s degree in political science, European affairs, law, or related field.

Skills

  • Experience in medical technology and the regulatory and technical environment of medical devices is a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • English is working language. French, German or Dutch are optional.
  • MS Office
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Dynamic, creative, self-motivated, and pro-active.

Expected starting date

2 May 2024 or as soon as possible.

This position is remunerated for 6 months full time in Brussels.
