Fee: £1,500 (hourly rate equivalent of £62.50)

Project Overview:
Our organisation seeks an experienced evaluator for a Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) project focusing on the restoration of one of the few remaining EMS Synthi 100 synthesisers. The project involves a condition survey, establishing a steering committee, and launching a public engagement campaign that will lay the groundwork for a broader heritage initiative celebrating this pioneering electronic instrument.

Job Requirements

Demonstrable experience in evaluating heritage or restoration projects.
Strong knowledge of HLF evaluation standards and principles.
Expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
Strong communication skills for reporting to stakeholders and presenting findings.
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of heritage and technical professionals.

Job Responsibilities

Develop and implement an HLF-compliant evaluation framework.
Conduct qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis where necessary.
Measure project outcomes, including restoration impact, community engagement, and technical progress.
Report on project efficiency, effectiveness, and future sustainability.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure evaluation addresses key project objectives.
Production of a robust, actionable evaluation report for future planning and funding opportunities.
