Teaching and Research Positions
(1) Qualifications
- Chinese citizenship is required.

Postdoctoral Positions
(1) Qualifications
- Age limit of 35 years;
- Hold a doctoral degree with no more than 3 years since graduation;
- Graduates with doctoral degrees from prestigious domestic or international universities, with a strong research background, problem-solving skills, and a passion for scientific research;
- Acceptable fields of expertise include mathematics, physics, geophysics, optical engineering, electronic science and technology, chemistry, materials science, biology, bioengineering, pharmacy, basic medicine, environmental science and engineering, computer science and technology, artificial intelligence, and more.
(2) Salary and Benefits
- Annual salary not less than CNY 300,000 (including Hangzhou living allowance) for a two-year term as an inbound postdoc, with an additional 50,000 yuan living allowance for postdoctoral fellows from abroad;
- Research funding of 50,000 yuan;
- Newly graduated doctoral students can receive an additional CNY 100,000 from Hangzhou new graduate subsidy;
- For those who have been funded by the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation and provincial-level postdoctoral research projects, the municipal finance provides a 1:1 matching fund;
- Provide fully furnished one-bedroom loft apartments, with canteens, cultural and sports centers, and other living facilities; after meeting relevant policies for renting housing in Hangzhou, the applicants can apply for a Hangzhou rental subsidy of CNY 2,500 per month;
- Outbound postdoctoral who stay and work in Hangzhou can apply for a 400,000 yuan Hangzhou postdoctoral stay (arrival) subsidy;
- Those with outstanding performance during the postdoctoral stage and who choose to work in Hangzhou can additionally apply for a special subsidy of CNY 400,000for staying (arriving) at the Hangzhou City West Science and Innovation Corridor;
- Outbound Postdoctoral fellows who authorize invention patents can apply for Hangzhou Class D talent recognition. If they had no housing in Hangzhou and had not enjoyed other housing policies, they could apply for a housing subsidy of CNY 1 million.
