Summary of Job Duties:

Teach college, concurrent credit, and pre-college-level English courses.

  • Serve as an academic advisor.
  • Work closely with English faculty, dean, tutoring staff, and other College

personnel to promote student success.

  • Serve on department and university committees.
  • Participate in planning, assessment, and professional development.
  • Willingness to teach at Hope and or Texarkana campuses.
  • Night and weekend duties may be required.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree with 18 graduate hours in English required. Teaching experience in this area is preferred.
  • Position may include teaching various formats including, concurrent credit, online, and Blackboard Collaborate. Preferred consideration will be given to applicants who have experience in these areas.

Salary Information:

Base $36,000.00. Commensurate with education and experience
