Plan International is a global federation and it has been working in Jordan since 2016, collaborating with national and international partners to support the recovery and resilience of the Syrian refugees and Jordanian host population by providing Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD), integrated projects including; education, child protection, GBV, SRHR, Youth Economic Empowerment, and women’s empowerment services in both host communities and refugee camps.

Objectives

The volunteer will gain experience and knowledge with being engaged with the below tasks

1- Supporting Azraq team in managing on taking phots for the Camp activities. This role involves assisting in creating, publishing, and engaging with content Azraq team.

2- Support Azraq team on following the sessions and the activities.

Scope of Work

  • Document activities and events within the camp through photography, videos and content creation.
  • Assist in developing and implementing social media plans.
  • Assist in creating an engaging social media content and plans.
  • Support in planning and executing social media campaigns.
  • Assist with Overseeing and evaluating protection needs and gaps in Plan sites in Azraq camp.
  • Contribute to the collection and analysis of monitoring data throughout the program.
  • Assist the camp team in preparing project reports and documenting evidence of outcomes.
  • Assist in Managing all associated activities, including workshops, parenting sessions, children’s sessions, and clubs.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and readiness to adjust working practices and hours significantly and collaborate with incoming emergency teams during crises or emergencies.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Strong interest in social media and digital communications.
  • Basic understanding of social media platforms and analytics tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Commitment

  • 15 days per month 6 hours a day.
  • Location : Azraq Camp
