The Financial Analyst acts as a resource to the Manager, Finance in supervising the quality, effectiveness and accuracy of the workflow process and outputs within the Finance team. The incumbent is expected to act as an expert resource to Managers and the Finance Team to help bridge and manage financial reporting and planning. The incumbent must be able to work effectively in a demanding role while balancing their own workload and engaging with others on a timely, professional and appropriate basis. This position requires an ability to work unsupervised while keeping the Manager, Finance aware of your efforts, informed of the issues and opportunities, and engaged in the development of solutions.
Your diploma in accounting and/or finance is complemented by five (5) years of in depth financial reporting and variance analysis experience with an emphasis on government / not for profit environments. You also possess strong general accounting background combined with a minimum of two (2) years’ experience supporting manager portfolios and senior management relating to variance analysis and mitigation strategies. CPA designation (CGA, CMA, CA) and previous experience in a health-care setting are desired.
As a condition of employment, external hires are required to submit proof of COVID-19 vaccination to the Hospital’s Occupational Health and Safety department.
This is an in-person on-site position and is not a remote position.

Salary: $81,785.00-$89,146.00 per year
