Freelance Facilitator

Overall Purpose:

Deliver Voicebox’s workshops, assemblies & projects in universities, primary schools, and secondary schools. Sessions address PSHE/RSE topics through the lens of gender stereotypes and masculinity. Workshop Duration:

Workshops: Typically 100 minutes each, with 2 delivered consecutively on most of our facilitation days.

Assemblies: 50-60 minutes

Duties:

Principal Duties:

• Deliver engaging, professional, and informative workshops to young people.
• Act as an ambassador for Voicebox, maintaining our professional and personable work ethic.
• Connect with young people to enhance their understanding of the workshop materials.
• Deliver workshop content as directed by the Programme Manager.
• Serve as a key contact for teachers and corporate volunteers during workshops.
• Collect feedback and reflect on workshop content, structure, and impact to the Programme Manager.

General Duties:

• Work flexibly as a team player, providing excellent customer service.
• Adhere to all Voicebox policies, including health and safety, safeguarding, and the freelance facilitator handbook.
• Support diversity and equal opportunities for all.
• Contribute to the overall ethos and aims of Voicebox.
• Attend and participate in meetings and events as required.
• Participate in training and other learning activities as required.
