Job Description
Rural Arts is seeking an experienced Marketing & Graphic Designer to develop and deliver the marketing campaign for Bookmarked: Thirsk 2026, our flagship project funded through the Vibrant and Sustainable High Street Fund.
This is an exciting opportunity for a creative freelancer with strong branding, graphic design and marketing experience to help shape the identity of a town-wide cultural programme celebrating books, storytelling and creativity.
Job Requirements
We’d love to hear from freelancers who:
– Have a strong background in graphic design and branding.
– Have experience delivering successful marketing campaigns, ideally for arts, cultural or community projects.
– Are confident creating engaging content across print, digital and social media.
– Can work sensitively with participant-led and community-generated content.
– Have excellent communication and organisational skills.
– Are enthusiastic about championing creative and community-focused projects.
