About Building Culture
Building Culture CIC is the sibling organisation to DIY arts collective https://emptyshop.org/ – Empty Shop CIC. We combine Empty Shop’s hands-on, delivery-led approach with the placemaking and regeneration expertise we’ve developed over the past 15 years to share, inform, empower, and catalyse change.

Rooted in social responsibility, our unique blend of grassroots heritage and sector-level experience allows us to offer a distinctive way of working. We seamlessly move between advisory, producing, and delivery roles, helping to inform the projects we believe in, as well as initiating our own work.

As we continue developing ambitious and impactful initiatives, we are seeking innovative and creative ‘doers’ – placemakers, dot connectors, bid writers, producers, project managers, and more.
