Freelance Research & Direct Outreach Worker (Short-term project)

This role supports the UK screening project of an independent documentary.

It is a research and direct-outreach position, not a creative or marketing role.

The task is to identify individuals across different UK cities who may be interested in attending a one-off screening. The work involves contacting individuals directly, recording their responses, and assessing whether their interest is genuine. The focus is on practical execution and clear documentation.

Although the work takes place within a film project, the role does not involve artistic creation, creative development, thematic interpretation, storytelling, promotional work, community engagement, or institutional outreach. It is not an audience development or marketing position.

This role does not include:

Creative contribution or artistic collaboration

Marketing, social media, or promotional activities

Building partnerships with organisations, venues, or groups

Curatorial, interpretive, or public engagement work

Contract

3-4 weeks, remote, freelance

£15-20 per hour depending on experience
