As a full-time, in-center, online ESL teacher (for adult learners) at our EF Cebu Center, you will benefit from having the support, mentorship, and expertise of our global team.

You have access to in-house lesson materials and all the necessary teaching tools so you can focus your energy on connecting personally with each student you meet in our group and private lessons. 

You’ll get great experience working in an international company and optimizing your career development, while helping our adult learners from over 120 countries meet their personal and professional goals of learning English! 

Key Responsibilities 

• Conduct 45-minute conversation-based group lessons and 40-minute private online lessons with adult learners using EF Teach Online classrooms.
• Provide after-class reports (ACR) to all students, detailing their progress and ongoing recommendations for improvement. Our platform tools are easy to use!
• With more experience, create your own custom lesson material.
• Participate in center activities and training, which are essential requirements in EF’s superior teaching products. (Training sessions can be scheduled during your un-booked working hours.)
• Commit to a full-time onsite schedule of 8 work hours per shift*, 5 days per week.

Requirements and Qualifications 

• Completed bachelor’s degree
• TESOL or TEFL Certificate – at least 40 hours (We provide free TEFL certification to eligible candidates)
• Fully fluent English speaker (C2 level) and with a neutral accent
• Can commit to an onsite, full-time employment with mid-shift schedule
• Can readily commute to and from Cebu IT Park, Cebu City
• Can legally work in the Philippines
• Online ESL Teaching experience is a plus but not required
• Willing to learn, trainable, and a team player
