The intern in the Pharma Technical Operations team in Mississauga will engage in an eight to twelve-month contract, gaining early career exposure to vital Technical Operations at Roche. They will design new processes, develop project management skills, and leverage new technologies across various projects and rotations, including Global Supply Chain, Regulatory, Quality, and more. Interns will experience agile working and must adhere to relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures, fostering cross-functional collaboration.

The Opportunity:

  • Develop and implement internal communication strategies to effectively convey Roche Pharma Technical Operations’ site story in Mississauga.
  • Support site communications to keep employees informed about initiatives, priorities, and events, and manage content for internal channels like Town Halls, Gsites, newsletters, and more.
  • Collaborate across Pharma Technical functions in Mississauga to align messaging and co-create content, enabling employee engagement opportunities.
  • Support special projects or visits by Global Visitors, including coordination, project management, and content creation, and manage logistics and calendar invites, as well as participating in site squads to work on communication strategy and initiatives, providing subject matter expertise, and collaborating with peers and cross-functional teams.

  • Develop project management, organizational, and self-management skills while working with PT mentors on long-term career goals, and continuously seek opportunities to improve the FutureWorks working model.

Who you are:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business, Marketing or related subject areas. With availability to work full time hours for 8 – 12 months.
  • Strong communication and writing skills with a passion for content creation, and experience across different channels and mediums.
  • Creative, resourceful, problem-solver able to network across various functional teams and coordinate multiple work streams with strong organizational skills.
  • Interest in the healthcare industry and attention to detail, ensuring thorough execution of tasks.
  • Learner level project management skills, including understanding of life cycle planning, and proven critical thinking and creativity skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work well with others constructively, and high motivation and passion for working in the pharmaceutical industry.

Preferred:

  • Communications related internships or work experience.
  • Experience in HTML.
  • Fluency in French.

Additional information:

  • This position is an 8 – 12-month work term (full-time).
  • Our team follows a hybrid work structure (minimum 3 days in the office).
