We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic facilitator for our exciting Urban Gardening Project. This role offers a unique opportunity to share your horticultural expertise and passion for the natural world with diverse age groups. As the facilitator, you will be responsible for planning and delivering interactive, hands-on gardening sessions that empower participants to learn practical gardening skills while experiencing the therapeutic benefits of connecting with nature. You will work with primary school children and elderly individuals, adapting your approach to suit their different needs and abilities. The goal of this project is to create and maintain a vibrant garden space that enhances daily life, supports relaxation, and promotes mindfulness for all involved.
The ideal candidate will have experience in different gardening techniques, be able to plan engaging sessions, and ideally hold an enhanced DBS (we can provide one if needed). Each session will be 2 hours long and we pay £35 per hour. If you believe in the power of gardening to nurture both plants and people, we’d love to hear from you!
