In this context, Sanofi has evolved its commercial model from GBU-specific country organizations to a more standardized and consistent approach, boosting efficiency.

The focus will be on (I) Key Markets and most innovative products as major drivers for growth and (II) a cross-GBUs growth and efficiency model with optimized country set-up.

Key dimensions – Scope & Scale:

• The MCO Pharma GM combines Specialty Care and GenMed businesses.
• The LATAM MCO is part of the new International region and represents approximately 500 headcounts within Pharma. This MCO covers the following countries: Mexico, South Cone and COPAC.
• Sales size for Pharma is about 1 Bn Euros sales with expected growth combining Specialty Care and GenMed mandates.
• The MCO Pharma GM is a member of the International Pharma Leadership Team with multiple accountabilities: MCO Lead for LATAM, P&L owner and Country lead for Mexico, as the anchor country of the MCO.

Main responsibilities:

• You will be accountable for P&L, resource allocation, business performance, Country activation plan and execution of aligned Global business priorities with the mandate to:
• Accelerate efficient growth for innovative products as per global franchise guidance.
• Maximize BOI for rest of portfolio, developed entrepreneurially
• Speed-up digitally enabled & customer first operating model based on standard archetypes.
• You will shape country environment to ensure access to innovation and sustainability for patients we serve.
• You will foster people engagement, and continuously develop team, talents, and capabilities.
• You will leverage on the centralized hubs and mutualized support functions capabilities.
• You will be a Role model and champion Take the Lead values, corporate commitments, and compliance guidelines.
• As MCO & Country lead, you will:
• Drive and lead one Sanofi agenda (talent management, employee engagement, MCO transformations and cross GBUs Country lead functions allocation etc.) and develop transversal ways of working.
• Represents the company and its values in all relationships with external stakeholders.
• As member of the Pharma International leadership team, you will also contribute actively to the success of the International Pharma Region and Sanofi overall.

About you

• You have a significant experience in managing a P&L.
• You have an outstanding empowering leadership / inspiring people leader with proven ability to develop internal talent members
• You have proven the ability to operate across different business models / product portfolios: Primary care, Specialty care, etc.
• Direct experience in Specialty Care is preferred
• You have a strong track record in building effective Global-Local working relationships.
• You have a significant experience on Operational Marketing, Sales & Digital.
• You have an international background with a work experience in multicultural environments.
• You are a role model of Take the Lead values
• You have a solid educational and professional background with track record of performance in managing business and operations in complex and demanding industries.
• You have the capacity to challenge the status quo to enhance business efficiency with an entrepreneurial mindset respecting centralised and global approaches.
• You have strong negotiation skills notably with local projects and existing external partnerships/ Alliances.
• You are fluent in English and Spanish.
