Work Site and Opportunity Highlights:

UH Community Hospitals 

This position will provide acute care general/level 3 trauma surgery clinical services on an as needed basis across our UH community hospital system with a primary focus on call coverage. You will provide emergency general surgery call coverage services and will provide required rounding on general surgery patients, requested rounding on other UHMP surgeon in-patients, or requested consultations. Surgeries will also be performed by you as needed for urgent procedures. For coverage requiring response within 30 minutes, nearby boarding will be provided to allow for appropriate response time. 

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Board-certified or Board-eligible in General Surgery
• Active Ohio Medical License in good standing upon effective date of employment
• Must be willing to travel and be credentialed at multiple UH community hospitals across Northeastern Ohio
