General Summary

Provides gastroenterology professional services to patients.

WellSpan Medical Group (WMG) is seeking a full-time Gastroenterologist Hospitalist for our location in York. Individual must be a graduate of an accredited school of medicine with Doctor of Medicine degree plus completion of a medical residency training program in Internal Medicine. He or she must also be Board Certified/Board Eligible.

• General GI opportunity (colonoscopies, EGDs and ERCPs)
• 7 on / 7 off schedule

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or
• Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required

Licenses:

• Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or
• Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

• Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine or Diplomate of the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine. Upon Hire Required and
• Certification of Added Competency in Gastroenterology. Upon Hire Required and
• Completion of an Internal Medicine residency. Upon Hire Required and
• Fellowship in Gastroenterology. Upon Hire Required
