To develop and administer procedures to ensure grant compliance with regulatory, funding agency, and policy requirements.Education & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in a related field and two (2) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education/experience.Certifications, Licenses or Registration Required: NAKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesKnowledge of grant and contract funding policies, procedures, and regulations. Knowledge of federal, state, and local funding sources. Knowledge of budgeting and fiscal management principles and procedures. Verbal and written communication skills. Interpersonal skill to interact with staff and faculty. Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications. Ability to develop and produce grants and other proposals. Ability to collect and analyze information. Ability to conduct literature searches.Responsibilities
- Conducts preliminary fiscal and administrative reviews of grant proposals in consultation with investigators.
- Prepares and compiles all components of each grant submission, ensuring the proposal is formatted, packaged and submitted in accordance with granting agency requirements.
- Compiles and prepares comprehensive budget justifications.
- Monitors and coordinates the administration of post-award grants to ensure grant and contract budgets and administrative policies, procedures and agency requirements are followed and objectives met.
- Interprets and provides advice and guidance to faculty and staff on grant funding polices, regulations, and procedures. Identifies and notifies faculty of potential grant opportunities and sponsor requirements.
- Establishes and maintains databases and files for tracking grant proposals, awards, statistical, and other applicable information; creates and distributes applicable correspondence.
