Job Summary
Job Description
The graphic designer will work closely with the UX/UI designer to develop visual assets and motion graphic elements that will then be used throughout the app.
The designer will also be responsible for selecting brand colours and typography for the app.
What will you be doing?
Developing original graphics for a mobile and web app
Developing designs for logo assets
Working closely with the UX/UI design to guide the visual direction of the app
Selecting brand colours and fonts to be used uniformly throughout the app
Fee
This is a freelance role, and you will be paid a commission equivalent to £20 – 30 an hour, over the course of the project. We expect the full commission to be £1000 – £1500. We allow remote and flexible working, but expect the freelancer to dedicate 15-20 hours a week for three to four weeks.
Job Requirements
What are we looking for?
Someone with an understanding of the importance of graphic design in the UX/UI workflow.
Someone comfortable working with UX/UI designers and developers.
A good communicator who is receptive to feedback.
Familiarity with graphic design tools, including but not limited to Adobe Suite.
Skills in digital illustration would be highly desirable.
A good eye for design is essential.
We’re especially keen to work with someone who feels genuinely called to this role and passionate about its purpose.
