Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a talented and motivated Hardware Engineer to join our Hardware Engineering Team. As a member of this team, the successful candidate will participate in all stages of the product lifecycle, from technical feasibility, hardware design, transfer to manufacturing and product sustainment.
Detailed Description:
Debug electrical issues at all stages of design, development and manufacturing, including EMC / EMI
Interface with manufacturing to help reproduce, diagnose, and resolve issues on new and established products
Participate in the selection, specification and procurement of equipment for all aspects of design, measurement, testing and validation
Circuit design, schematic entry, printed circuit board layout, prototype testing, and manufacturing support
Integrate and test software and hardware components for the purposes of product development, modification, or improvement
Perform testing and modifications to validate regulatory compliance certification
Contribute to the development of the company’s strategy, intellectual property, quality and continuous improvement efforts
Write and edit technical reports, proposals, presentations, and other materials
Requirements:
Electrical engineering degree/diploma or equivalent
3+ years of relevant experience as a Hardware Engineer or relevant field
Demonstrated experience working with complex electronic designs
Strong understanding of mixed-signal design, and signal integrity principles
Experience with board-level testing/troubleshooting techniques, and EMI mitigation
Thorough knowledge and hands-on experience working with test and measurement equipment
Understanding of SMT assembly process, and strong rework and hand-soldering skills
Experience with design simulation, test automation, analysis, and CAD tools
Strong knowledge and understanding of full product cycle from design to manufacturing
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Focused, detail oriented, and able to work independently
Preferred Skills/Experience:
In-depth knowledge of high-speed interfaces, like 10GE, USB3.1 or similar
Direct experience working in an electronics manufacturing environment
Salary Range:
$72,200.00-$96,300.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
