Head of Wardrobe and Wigs

TEG Live Europe and TEG Life Like Touring are looking for an experienced Head of Wardrobe and Wigs for the upcoming UK Tour of “Gabby’s Dollhouse Live!” from March – May 2026. The show features a talented ensemble of singer-actor-puppeteers, performing live whilst puppeteering beautiful big puppets. One cast member has multiple wig changes during the show.

Candidates should be London based, have local work rights, and be available for all rehearsal and national tour dates from 2 March 2026 (with the possibility of pre-production and costume buying in the previous week, paid pro-rata) through and up to/around 3 May 2026. Rehearsals will be in London from 2 – 21 March, before heading on tour.

Employee shall perform all services customarily rendered by Head of Wardrobe and Wigs of a musical theatre show (of the same quality and calibre as a West End musical). Without limitation the following employee duties shall include:

• Cast fittings, coordination, sourcing, alterations, finishing, repairs and maintenance as required of all show costumes
• Liaise with Costume Designer re buying local items & approvals
• Assist with managing aspects of the production, including pre-set of costumes, pre-set of Wigs, quick changes, props, prop movements and assisting with puppetry and costumes during performances, as required
• Care for all costumes before, during and after each performance including Meet & Greet character costumes
• Care for all wigs before, during and after each performance
• Oversee the regular washing/cleaning of all show costumes, puppeteer costumes as specific to show performance
• Oversee regular setting/styling and maintenance of all show wigs as specific to show performance
• Reporting Wardrobe related issues/incidents/accidents
• Ensuring all costumes and wigs are transported, unpacked, set and prepped with care to protect them from harm or from getting soiled before, during or after any performance
• Oversee the regular maintenance and repairs on tour, as needed
