Health Coach

 

The incumbent will be responsible for tasks related to the execution and analysis of lab functions or social research. Tasks could include, but are not limited to:

  • performing laboratory procedures, developing materials, managing data collection, data input, evaluation and analysis, and participating in the design and planning of protocols.
  • Conducts research assessments/procedures independently, including obtaining brief medical histories, and assisting with other clinical procedures as directed.
  • Recruits, screens, and enrolls research participants. Follows up with study participants to schedule appointments and maintain study retention. Reviews participants’ medical records, collects and codes surveys, and verifies active status for participants.
  • Attends relevant meetings and prepares reports, data visualizations, and basic models identifying progress and trends.
  • Maintains and updates databases for registry assessments and clinical trial forms.

• Preferred experience with sickle cell disease
• Research experience preferred
• Therapy or health coaching experience preferred
• Community health worker background helpful but not required
• Great listening skills

 

A High School Diploma or GED is required for this position and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is Preferred.
