Position Overview: As a Health Educator, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing health education programs that improve the well-being of our patients and their families. Your efforts will help foster a healthier community by providing valuable information and resources.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and evaluate health education programs and materials
Conduct health education sessions and workshops for patients, staff, and community members
Assess the health education needs of the community and tailor programs accordingly
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to integrate health education into patient care plans
Provide one-on-one health education and counseling to patients
Maintain accurate records of program activities and outcomes
Stay up-to-date with current health education practices and guidelines
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Health Education, Community Health, Public Health, or a related human services field from an accredited college or university
At least one year of specialized experience as a Health Educator after graduation
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to develop and deliver engaging educational content
Knowledge of health education theories and practices
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
