Health Educator in PRICE, Utah

The Southeast Utah Health Department is hiring a full-time Health Educator for the Price office.

This position will play a pivotal role in promoting health and wellness within our community in the following programs; tobacco cessation, harm reduction, suicide prevention, child passenger safety, and healthy living.  You will be responsible for implementing health education programs targeting diverse populations, presenting to various groups, creating evidence-based educational materials, and participating in community events, health fairs, and outreach programs. 

Applicants must possess a high school diploma and maintain a non-smoking status. A Bachelor’s degree in Health Education, Public Health, or another related field is preferred.

Must be available for periodic evening and weekend presentations, activities, and occasional travel.
