Healthcare Analyst in Honolulu, Hawaii

We are working closely with a local healthcare company that is looking for someone who wants to be a Healthcare Analyst. This position will play a crucial role in analyzing data, developing insights, and supporting the decision-making process with a focus on Medicare and Medicare claims. Responsibilities:

• Be the subject matter expert in Medicare and Medicare claims.

• Analyze healthcare data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.

• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Excel and other data visualization tools.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.

• Conduct data validation and ensure data integrity.

• Provide insights and recommendations to improve business processes and patient outcomes.

• Support the development and implementation of data-driven strategies.

• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

• Utilize SQL for data extraction and manipulation (nice to have).

Qualifications:

• Experience in understanding Medicare and/or Medicare Claims.

• Strong proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions and pivot tables.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Familiarity with SQL for data analysis is a plus!

Compensation: This position offers a salary of $60,000 – $85,000, depending on experience.
