Healthcare Data Analyst

About the Role

The Healthcare Data Analyst will perform clinical and economic healthcare data analyses to demonstrate the impact of Hinge Health programs/products for payers. The Analyst works in close collaboration with the Clinical Research team to conduct high quality, rigorous analyses of healthcare claims and healthcare utilization data. Following company methodology and design and using company templates, the Analyst completes analyses, writes reports, and communicates clearly in presentations about analytic methods and results. Analyst easily engages with technical and non-technical teams to support conversations and results sharing with clients. 

What You&rsquoll Accomplish

• Perform data quality checks, validation, and cleaning to ensure data integrity and consistency
• Execute a specified volume of client-level healthcare economic analyses/reporting each month
• Deliver analyses and reports and answer questions

We believe that remote work and in-person work have their own advantages and disadvantages, and we want to be able to leverage the best of both worlds. Employees in hybrid roles are required to be in the office 3 days/week.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, information science, statistics, or related field required
• 1-2 years of healthcare data experience is required
• 1 -2 years Working experience with medical and pharmacy claims, billing practices and health insurance requirements
• Fluent programming skills in R, SQL, and/or Python

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to digital therapeutics and new telehealth delivery systems
• 1-2 years of experience with Medicare and Medicaid claims data
• 1-2 years of experience with Databricks or similar cloud databases

Compensation 

This position will have an annual salary, plus equity and benefits. Please note the annual salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. The annual salary range for this position is $110,700 – $122,900.
