About This Opportunity
Healthcare Sales and Application Specialist influence and drive sales through thoughtful design activities, focused on the clinical environment, that support and enhance the Healthcare market strategies. With a focus on clinical design and research, we bring insightful, creative, and innovative solutions to the clinical landscape which are empathetic to healthcare stakeholders. Through design thinking strategies we analyze and synthesize information, creating solutions that are supportive of healthcare processes; withstand of the rigors of the clinical environment; and respectful of staff, patients, and family who work and visit Healthcare facilities.
Responsibilities
- Engage in team selling by creating and owning design strategies that drive business outcomes in assigned areas
- Develop programs that enhance the customer’s experience with our Healthcare team, reinforcing our knowledge and expertise in clinical design
- Create and deliver environment solutions that open the door to opportunities for more in depth discovery with customers
- Collaborate with dealer teams on training opportunities to ensure that they are equipped and informed on MillerKnoll healthcare insights, products, and programs
- Provide guidance on product specifications that are respectful of the clinical environment for internal teams and dealer partners
- Lead presentations and discussions related to healthcare knowledge and insights, value proposition, and programs with internal and external customers
- Coach dealer partners through the healthcare design and construction process
- Work with cross-functional teams to increase visibility and knowledge of the healthcare product portfolio
Experience
- Worked in Design field for 5-7 years and can work in various drawing platforms – AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, CET
- Knowledgeable about healthcare design and environments
- Managed large project through design and construction process
- Facilitated discovery and needs assessment with cross-functional teams
- Participated and worked in concert with internal and external partners to build a cohesive and productive team
Critical Skills
- Creative Thinker with ability to create inspiring deliverables that showcase the possibilities of our product portfolio across the Healthcare floor plate
- Continuous learning and growth in design field and healthcare industry that reinforce knowledge leader within internal team and with our customers
- Time Management: Able to work on multiple projects or support various initiatives engaging internal and external resources through course of business days/weeks
- Strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills that are thoughtful, respectful, and represent the MillerKnoll brand and builds trust amongst teams
- Self-starter, meets deadlines, supports team
- Drawing: AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, CET

PROJECTS
Our Healthcare team is involved in a variety of project experiences. Each region supports healthcare in different ways. In the first year, you will have the opportunity to work closely with internal teams to understand our Healthcare story and how we create account strategies; you will meet and build relationships with our dealer and A+D partners; you will engage with other Application + Design Specialist to foster a relationship that will support continued learning within the Healthcare industry.
