Job Title: Healthcare Support

Job Description

Provide individuals, families, and groups with the psychosocial support needed to cope with chronic, acute, or terminal illnesses. Services include advising family caregivers, providing patient education and counseling at the order of a physician, and making referrals for other services. May also provide care and case management or interventions designed to promote health, prevent disease, and address barriers to access to healthcare.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Blauvelt, New York.

Work Environment

Monday – Friday 8 AM – 3 PM (They eat lunch with the patients and are paid for that of course). Hours are non-negotiable. The dress code is business professional. The selling point for this client would be to gain valuable experience with a reputable non-for-profit organization and could open doors for a permanent job if they do well. The organization does not like to lose good people.
