Mesivta Yesodei HaTorah (MYH) religious boys school invites passionate educators to apply for the afternoon position of English 11 Teacher. Teaching English 11 at MYH is an ideal position for young teachers looking to gain valuable experience and experienced teachers looking to supplement their income in a small private boys’ school in Naugatuck CT. We are growing and need enthusiastic and dedicated instructors. The position is open for one section of English 11 instruction for eleventh grade High School students.
Responsibilities
Design and implement unit and lesson plans in collaboration with administration.
Motivate students to realize high academic and behavioral standards.
Providing strong instructional and classroom management skills.
Qualifications
Teaching experience in Biology, Earth Science, Chemistry, and/or Physics and Connecticut certified in one or more of these areas.
New teachers, working on their certificates too may be considered.
Outstanding academic achievement and student character development.
Mastery of and enthusiasm for subject matter.
Team player: maturity, humility, strong work ethic, follow-through, sense of humor, willingness to respond positively to feedback and a “roll-up-my-sleeves” attitude.
