SUMMARY:

• Responsible for managing overall Home Health Care department performance.
• Works with other team members to achieve department objectives while embracing all Shoppers Drug Mart policies, procedures and standards.

JOB REQUIREMNENTS:

• Healthcare background ideal
• Nursing Students, or other healthcare student encouraged to apply

DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and maintain relationships with multiple clinics within the hospital including (but not limited too) orthopedics, vascular, physiotherapy and plastics.

Successful candidate will provide customer service in a variety of areas including but not limited to:

• Bracing and support products
• Mobility aids (walkers, canes, crutches etc)
• Compression garments (hosiery, post-surgical bras etc)
• Medical Supplies (wound care, ostomy, enteral nutrition etc)
• Ensures products are in stock at all times, through proactive inventory planning, and utilization of best practices and established processes.
• Inventory control, ordering, price changes, damages and returns

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

• Experience in a health care setting with knowledge of bracing, mobility aids and medical supplies.
• Previous retail experience (including responsibility for purchasing, Loss Prevention, as well as inventory control and human resources and people management) is an asset

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
