Orthosurgery – Spine
Under the direct supervision of the Orthopaedic Institute Practice Supervisor and Manager, guided by policies and
procedures of the Ambulatory Services, and in collaboration with the clinical staff and the physician leadership, the
Hospital Assistant 2 assists in the delivery of care to patients in an ambulatory multi-specialty group practice. Work
includes a variety of personal care and nursing procedures including assuring positive care outcomes. They will perform assigned patient care and laboratory procedures in support of the primary and specialty care services provided to patients within the practice. They are required to adhere to the Telephone and House Standards as adopted by the Medical Center. Exemplary customer service is essential.

Please note: An offer will take into consideration the experience of the final candidate AND the current salary level of individuals working at UCSF in a similar role.

• Prior experience in medical office environment

• Graduated from an accredited Medical Assisting program
• Cast Technician experience. If not, will provide formal training, if skill is needed.
