The purpose of this position is to provide true partnership, trusted advice, support and facilitation to team leaders and managers across a generalist spectrum of human resources disciplines. In this dual-capacity role, you will act as a trusted advisor to business leaders while dedicating 50% of your time to driving and managing Learning and Development (L&D) initiatives. The People and Organisation team work in true partnership with the business to enable our people to attract, retain and engage talent.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Business Partner (50%)
Partner with designated business units to provide HR guidance and support on workforce planning, talent management, organisational design, and change initiatives;
Advise and coach managers on employee relations, performance management, engagement, and retention strategies;
Collaborate with leadership to assess team structures, role design, and succession planning;
Interpret and apply HR policies and employment law compliance in a consistent and fair manner;
Use HR metrics and analytics to influence people strategies and track progress toward goals.
Learning & Development (50%)
Lead the design, delivery, and evaluation of learning programs to support organisational and individual development goals;
Conduct training needs analysis in collaboration with department heads and HR team;
Facilitate in-house workshops, onboarding sessions, and leadership development initiatives;
Develop career pathing and competency frameworks aligned with business objectives;
Manage relationships with external training vendors and platforms;
Track and report on L&D metrics such as training hours, completion rates, and employee feedback.
Qualifications:
About You
Bachelor’s or Master degree in Human Resources, Business Administration;
Strong demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence at different levels across the business;
Good time management skills, both in planning and ongoing adjustments;
Comfort dealing with ambiguity and shifting deadlines;
Ability to be resilient and push-back when required;
Ability to write policies, guidelines and other internal communications;
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from across the business;
Good Microsoft Office suite skills;
Confidence to ask a lot of questions to develop and execute a plan without hand holding;
Naturally curious, opinionated, and not shy to share their opinion;
Have sound judgement and alignment to our P&O and wider TOMRA Food culture;
