HR & Administrative Manager (part-time; hybrid)

World Vision, a global Christian relief, is recruiting an HR & Admin Manager.

Specific duties

Compensation & Benefits

  • Admin management of entitlements and benefits for staff and of personnel files and HR databases
  • Payroll management, leave & absences;
  • Prepare employment contracts & manage contract renewals;
  • Develop & schedule benefits orientations & other benefits training;

Recruitment & Employee Relations

  • Manage all steps of recruitment processes;
  • Coordinate further development of HR policies regarding employee relations;
  • Contribute to the onboarding & integration of the newly recruited staff
  • Ensure compliance of HR policies/practices with existing governmental and labour law;
  • Respond to staff enquires on local employment law issues (incl. PC 329.03);
  • Liaise with WV EUREP office (training update, communications, etc);
  • Oversee yearly performance review processes; 
  • Manage staff trainings needs
  • Oversee staff career development;
  • Ensure the establishment of a staff care and wellbeing plan and its proper implementation;
  • Recommend staff relations practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale and motivation;
  • Act as the HR trust person.

General Office Operations

  • Supervise the work of the Finance and administrative Manager;
  • Other duties assigned by WV EUREP Director.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Degree in HR & Admin or related field;
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience;
  • Fluent in English & French
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills;
  • Willingness to contribute within a small team and a multi-cultural environment, diplomatic communicator;
  • Service-oriente,  flexible, strong employee-focused attitude and proactive;
  • Shows integrity and sound ethical principles;
  • Support for World Vision’s core values and Christian identity;
  • Right to work in Belgium

We offer

A CDI 50% part-time contract with a monthly salary of 2100 EUR and a generous benefits package incl. 13th month, 8 EUR /day meal vouchers, 125 EUR eco-vouchers, 50 EUR Sports & Culture cheque, homeworking allowance, DKV hospitalisation & group insurance.
