The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of HR best practices. Working cross-functionally, the new leader will play a pivotal role in meeting company goals by offering strategic guidance, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture, and ensuring alignment of HR values with local employment laws and standards.Salary + Additional Benefits:

Location: Baytown, Texas
Type of Position: Direct HireResponsibilities:

• Develop and implement human resources strategies, policies, and procedures that support the organization’s mission, vision, and values.
• Manage and oversee all aspects of the employee life cycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations/performance management, training & development, compensation & benefits, leaves of absence, workers’ compensation, and unemployment.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal employment laws & regulations.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with employees, management, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration across the organization.
• Develop and maintain job descriptions, employee handbooks, and other HR-related documentation.
• Oversee the administration of employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits and wellness programs.
• Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
• Lead performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and career development plans.
• Develop and administer compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain top talent.
• Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters.
• Lead training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and performance.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and documentation.
• Drive initiatives to promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
• Stay informed about current HR trends, best practices, and legal developments.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• 3-5+ years of experience in a hands-on, full-cycle HR position
• Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices
• Experience in talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, and HR compliance
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite
