Hybrid Regional Site Medical Director Position – North Central MO- Signing Bonus – Call Optional (63432)

Centurion Health is the proud provider of comprehensive health care services to the Missouri Department of Corrections.

We are currently seeking a full-time Primary Care Physician to serve as Regional Site Medical Director for correctional facilities located in North Central Missouri. These facilities are located in Moberly, Boonville and Tipton, Missouri.

CALL IS NOT REQUIRED. “Phone only” call is optional and paid.

This is a hybrid position working from a home office and traveling to the Moberly facility once a week and the other two facilities once every other week. Company paid mileage is offered.

The Regional Site Medical Director provides the clinical direction needed to meet the service delivery requirements of the assigned site(s). The Regional Site Medical Director also provides direct clinical services for patients and clinical supervision for medical staff of assigned site(s) under the supervision of the Statewide Medical Director. The Regional Site Medical Director will collaborate with Health Services Administrator at the site to ensure efficient and clinically appropriate medical services are provided and will participate in various committees to include Continuous Quality Improvement, Infection Prevention and Control and Pharmacy and Therapeutics as requested.

• MD or DO
• Active, unrestricted MO license
• Active, unrestricted DEA
• Must be able to pass background check, drug screening and credentialing

Available Shift

• Monday – Friday
• Day shift
• Must visit Moberly facility 1 day per week
• Must visit remaining facilities 1 day bi-weekly
• Remaining days can be completed remotely
