Hydrogen Integration into Community Multi-Energy Systems

1. Project Objectives

i) Investigate methods for incorporating hydrogen production, storage, and utilisation in community energy networks.

ii) Quantify benefits and potential obstacles for hydrogen-based pathways under different policy and regulatory frameworks.

iii) Address system-level integration challenges using optimisation methods and scenario analyses.

iv) Propose guidelines for community-level stakeholders interested in adopting hydrogen solutions.

2. Candidate Profile

A master’s degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Energy Systems, Applied Mathematics, or a related field. Background in energy systems analysis, system modelling, or power engineering.

Proficiency in programming (e.g., Python, MATLAB, or similar) is advantageous. Strong written and oral communication skills. Motivation to contribute to sustainable energy solutions.
